Bring Back Your Smile with Dentures

Dentures

Dentures are partial or full appliances that replace a number of missing teeth. They differ from other cosmetic solutions in that they are removable and provide more flexibility.

If you already have dentures, they should be replaced every 3-8 years, but it depends on your particular case. If you think your dentures need repair or replacement, contact your dentist immediately.

Getting New Dentures

If you are missing some or most of your teeth, dentures may be the best solution for you. There are more permanent cosmetic treatments available, like bridges and implants, but dentures provide affordability, especially for those who have lost many teeth. Also, the process of getting dentures is shorter than most cosmetic procedures.

Complete Dentures

Full DentureComplete dentures are appliances to replace the full set of teeth on the upper or lower levels. These use suction to stay in place, and can be fitted once the natural teeth have been removed and the gum has healed. Because your mouth changes over time, you will need to routinely go to the dentist to ensure complete dentures fit properly.

Partial Dentures

Removable Partial DenturePartial dentures cover only a section of missing teeth. It is similar to a bridge in that a partial denture is supported by your remaining teeth and gums. A precision partial denture is removable and has internal attachments rather than clasps that attach to the adjacent crowns.
